Look at the complete specification
For aluminum, compare panel, post and gate details. For chain link, include mesh, framework and finish. Height alone is not enough to compare strength or price, and additional privacy screening should be reviewed as a design change.
Consider access and terrain
Panel geometry and gate clearances matter on sloped ground. Decide the equipment opening you need and how it will be approached. Where a fence meets walls or other structures, review the connection and transition rather than assuming a standard panel fits.
Plan care and future repairs
Ask about finish care, hardware adjustment and availability of matching components. If the enclosure serves a pool, applicable barrier requirements govern the complete layout and gate operation; material choice alone does not establish compliance.
